The potentially fatal meningococcal disease is suspected to have now infected three people across the Riverina in the last week. People at Griffith, Albury and Wagga Wagga have been hospitalised and a child is among the confirmed cases. The Greater Southern Area Health Service says it is the peak time for meningococal disease and people need to be aware of the symptoms.
