Briefs-Bangladesh eyes 90-over games for Dhaka league

July 16 (Reuters) - Sports news in brief from around the world: Cricket - The Bangladesh Cricket Board is planning to introduce 90-over matches instead of the traditional 50 overs for the Dhaka Premier League. "The new version will also help players to develop their skill to stay for a longer time on the crease," said BCB official Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir. "It will be a two-day affair instead of one day." Soccer - Italian lower division side La Spezia are poised to go out of business just days after Serie B's Messina said their financial problems could force them to drop out of the league.
