Associated Press - July 15, 2008 10:03 AM ET NEW YORK (AP) - Twins first baseman Justin Morneau (MOHR'-noh) won last night's All-Star Home Run Derby, but it was Josh Hamilton who stole the show in Yankee Stadium. The Texas Rangers outfielder belted a record 28 balls over the fence in the first round before running out of gas and losing to Morneau in the finals. PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The owners of the Spectrum say the longtime Philadelphia sports arena will close at the end of the 2008-09 minor league hockey and indoor soccer seasons and be demolished. The NHL's Flyers and NBA's 76ers played games in the now-42-year-old building until moving to the Wachovia (wah-KOH'-vee-uh) Center in 1996.
