Foreign minister Stephen Smith has described talks with Fiji's interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama as worthwhile. Stephen Smith and five other Pacific Ministers met with Commodore Frank Bainimarama for three hours. None of the ministers will go into detail about what was said at the meeting. Mr Smith is demanding the interim prime minister honour his commitment to hold elections by March next year. The ministers will report on what progress, if any, they have seen in Fiji at a Pacific Islands forum in Niue...
