The armies of Iran, Syria and Venezuela are exchanging knowledge and know-how on a regular basis, the Kuwaiti daily A-Siyasa reports. Military experts in the fields of intelligence, weapons development and surveillance are conducting weekly trilateral meetings, developing their capabilities ahead of "dangers in the near or far future," the paper's sources reveal. A delegation of 15 Syrian officers from all branches of the army attended as observers at military exercises conducted last week by Iran's Revolutionary Guards. A similar delegation from the Venezuelan army was also present. Last February, the three countries signed a secret security agreement, raising their military cooperation to a new level, according to the sources.
