It always seems better in the morning... exciting arrivals and our first official house guests.

Well its nearly 5am... so much more civilised than normal. Particularly when one goes to bed at 9pm and then wakes up at 4 with her glasses on! Which meant that at some point I must of thought I was getting up at around pumpkin hour put the specs on and then went back to sleep! Oh well - dirty finger printers and funny smudges can be fixed. Sleep is priceless. I feel a lot better this morning. Have a hell dead arm from the tetanus shot... but I'll live. I'd much prefer a dead arm than actual lockjaw... and my ankle is a lovely puss filled shade of green and purple in places with a big fat ankle! The Dr said to keep it clean and uncovered for the week so that means thongs in mid winter - I don't own any terrible crocs or other shoes that could work... I'll just have to be cold.
