Yonkers Man Died After Falling From Car Onto I-95 HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) ― A man who was riding on the running board of his girlfriend's Jeep when he fell to his death may have been drinking. Police said 24-year-old Maxwell Grullon, who lived in Yonkers, was thrown from the car onto Interstate 95 in Harrison, north of New York City, Saturday night. His family told the Journal News that their son had previously been arrested for driving while intoxicated, but that he had been sober for nine months. Before the accident, police said Grullon and his girlfriend had attended two parties and that he had been drinking. State Police Investigator Shannon Morrison said Monday that Grullon's drinking, more than his girlfriend's driving, appeared to have contributed to his death. Foul play has been ruled out.
