Ahhh, cucumber season; when day to day business takes a marked change in tempo… I used to think it was a phenomenon unique to the Czech Republic but after living here for many years I have come to realize it is more of a global occurrence. But, that’s not what I want to talk about today, let’s touch on another global occurence - local politics! I recently had a chance to speak with my doctor- no, no, I am not ill, my doctor, Dr. Martin Jan Stransky is running for the Senate seat in Prague 1.
