ST. GEORGE -- Intermountain Healthcare’s PRIME Senior Lecture Series presents “Sleep and Aging” on July 25 at 10 a.m. in the Knight Education Center, 300 E. 600 South. Dr. Mustafa Saifee is the featured speaker. The public is invited to attend this free presentation. The Better Sleep Council estimates that one out of every two seniors suffers from sleep deprivation and the debilitating, often dangerous, daytime drowsiness that accompanies insomnia. Saifee is a board-certified physician in sleep medicine and has had a persistent interest in sleep and aging since his yearlong residency at the Yale School of Medicine’s sleep laboratory more than a decade ago.
