President Yudhoyono attends Lake Toba festival

Medan, North Sumatra (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to attend the Lake Toba Festival in Prapat, North Sumatra, on July 16, 2008, the chief organizer said. "The organizers have prepared everything to welcome the president at the Lake Tobe Festival, which is expected to serve as an effective promotion means for the tourist resort," Sujono Manurung, chairman of the 18th Lake Tobe Festival, said here on Saturday. He said that the festival was expected to attract foreign tourists again after they were discouraged by monetary crisis and various negative issues that befell Indonesia.
