Czech Ministry demand compensation form general - press

Prague- The Defence Ministry is enforcing in court almost 300,000 crowns from General Rostislav Kotil, current special security adviser to the Czech mission at the U.N. in New York, over a controversial contract he signed, the daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) writes today. The contract concerned a study on the country's defence management in emergency situations. Kotil has dismissed the suspicion. He told the paper that he had become a victim of a discrediting campaign by people from the Defence Ministry. Kotil used to head the Defence Ministry's defence policy and strategy section in the past. His successor in this post, Ivan Dvorak, said Kotil had signed an invalid contract with the Z. L.
