Ryan Jr. Memorial Championship, which is exactly how he likes it. "Nothing much changes," the 47-year-old Irondequoit member said after a 1-over-par 72 on Friday helped him maintain the same two-shot lead with which he started the sometimes soggy day. "I'm going to do the same thing (today); hit it down the middle, try to hit it on the green, and make some putts. That's my game plan and it can't change. I can't overpower a course so that's what I have to do." At 1-under 212, Sand is two strokes ahead of 18-year-old Michael Spiotta of Stafford Country Club and 21-year-old Don McClintock of the Country Club of Mendon.
