Obama Says US Must ‘Restore Diplomacy’

(CNSNews.com) - One day after Iran announced the testing of a long-range nuclear missile, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama stressed to a Virginia crowd the need for more diplomacy. “Terrorism, unfortunately, has gone international,” the Illinois senator said. “That means we have to worry about and build alliances and restore our relationships with countries all around the world.” “As commander in chief, I will use the military to protect America,” Obama said. “But it can’t be the first resort or the second resort. It has to be the last. We have to restore diplomacy.
