AS Roma and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of Brazilian forward Alessandro Mancini to reigning Serie A champions Inter. The two clubs said they would work out the details of the accord next week, when the player returns from holiday. No exact figures were given on the cost of the deal, but it is believed to be close to the 15-million-euro price tag AS Roma had put on its striker. Mancini, who turns 28 on August 1, came to Italy six years ago and spend his first year on loan from AS Roma to Venezia in the second division. He then joined AS Roma for the 2003-2004 season and in his five years with the club he scored 80 goals in Serie A, two in the Champions League and three in the Italian Cup.
