Linsey curls her way to success

Curler Linsey Spence (21), from Lockerbie, will graduate at 2.30pm on Wednesday 16 July with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University. Linsey received an RGU Sports Scholarship for three consecutive years during her studies. Her Scholarship programme was tailored to her individual needs, comprising a combination of financial assistance; access to facilities and membership of RGU: SPORT; expert support and advice in relation to training, strength and conditioning, nutrition and sports science; assistance with costs associated with the sport, and subsidised University accommodation. Linsey was selected for the Award as a result of her outstanding performance in curling, as well as her commitment and potential to progress to the top.
