I'm as much a sucker for a decent travelogue as I evidently am for a terrible, dumbed-down archaeology-based drama (read here if you want to know what all that fuss was about). Just before Bonekickers, there was Francesco Da Mosto's latest project for the BBC. Apparently this guy is like marmite - you either love him or loathe him. I don't see the problem with him. He's got a lovely, broad Italian accent, cool hair and he smiles a lot. Compare him to the loathesome professional Italian Gino D'Acampo, and Francesco is a God. Anyway, Francesco (after the success of his series on Venice) was back last night, and this time he'll be travelling by boat from his beloved Venice to Istanbul.
