The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has issued guidelines on whistleblowing, the first world business organization of its kind to establish a global standard for facilitating the setting up of whistleblowing programs. In a statement issued yesterday, the Paris-based ICC says it intends to fight corruption and to combat commercial crime worldwide with these new guidelines. "Fraud remains one of the most problematic issues for business worldwide, no matter the country of operation, industry sector or size," said ICC's Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman François Vincke.
