ST. PETERSBURG (Bay News 9) -- Police are searching for three young men who attacked an 82-year-old man Monday and took off in his car. According to Bay News 9's partner paper, the St. Petersburg Times, Samuel Hemingway was leaving Dan's Barbershop on 18th Avenue South in St. Petersburg when a young man approached him and took his keys. Two more young men, possibly teenagers, joined in the fight and pushed Hemingway to the ground. Then the three jumped into Hemingway's 2003 Ford Expedition and drove away. Police do not have a good description of the suspects, but believe the two teenagers weighed about 135 pounds each. The barbershop owner, W.H. Daniels, said Hemingway returned to the shop "wet and a little bruised up" from being thrown to the ground in the rain. Daniels had been Hemingway's barber for more than 20 years. He...
