Police looking for man in his 50s who robbed Boise Jacksons store overnight

By David Kennard - Idaho Statesman Boise police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store in West Boise about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sgt. Mike Rowe, a spokesman with the Ada County Sheriff's Office, said a man wearing a ski mask entered the Jacksons store at Five Mile and Lake Hazel roads, displayed some kind of kitchen knife and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The man, who witnesses said was about 50 years old, is described as having a light complexion, gray hair and wearing a gray sweatshirt with a red stripe across the middle, and blue jeans. Rowe said a customer who entered the store at the same time quickly fled the store when the man ordered him to leave.
