TEHRAN, Iran - Iran test-fired nine long- and medium-range missiles Wednesday during war games that officials said were intended to show the country can retaliate against any U.S. or Israeli attack, state television reported. The exercise was being conducted at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic waterway through which about 40 percent of the world's oil passes. What does Iran Want? I think more than anything to be able to defend their country. Iran wants the same things as Israel, security. Who can they trust? They remember 1979; Arabic nations who supported Iraq against Iran. The integrated financial, technical, and armaments that were provided by many Arab countries to support Arabic Iraq against non-Arab Iranians was responsible for death of about 500,000 Iranians ad injury of several millions. They remember our financial and technical support of Sadam Hossein to use chemical bombs against Iranians. If you were the President of Iran, what would you do for your country? I have no idea what Iran wants, but I tend to agree that Iran just wants safety for their people. What I do know is the image of Iran in the eyes of Europeans. Iran is a bad and rogue country, and deserves to be whipped. Please understand me well, this is how Iran is presented to the public in Europe (and probably elsewhere in the world). Iran should think about hiring a PR agency to improve its image.
