July 8, 2008, Evansville, Ind. - On a rainy night in Evansville, the Otters found a way to play a game in between raindrops. Once Mother Nature cooperated, the Otters bats awoke as they pounded out a 12-7 win over the Midwest Sliders. The game was called after 7 2/3 innings. Evansville had 18 hits. The big blast on the night came from Christian Reyes who had a Grand Slam in the third inning. Gered Mochizuki, Justin Randall, Christian Reyes, and Mike Sullivan all collected three hits on the night while Justin Jordan (5-5) pitched five innings to pick up the win.
