Slow fix at nursing homes

RECORD IMPROVING Leisureworld has faced some tough scrutiny by the provincial health ministry. Its record is improving though it is still above the provincial rate of violations. 2005: The chain (then 18 homes) had 365 violations – 12.06 per 100 beds. That was nearly double the provincial average that year of 6.59 violations.
