Taylor High grads win city scholarships

The Detroit News TAYLOR -- Two Taylor high school students have won $750 scholarships from the city's management association, the city announced. Christopher McNeely and Steven Gorgon both are 2008 graduates of Gabriel Richard High School. They were honored by the Taylor Governmental Management and Administrative Employees Association, composed of city department heads, directors, managers and administrative employees. McNeely plans to attend Central Michigan University to prepare for a career in sports medicine. Gorgon is still deciding where to attend college, but plans to pursue a degree in...
