Up-scale enterprises in disaster areas resume

The Sichuan Provincial Economic Commission has just released figures revealing that up-scale enterprises in the province achieved an added value of 30.5 billion yuan in June, an increase of four percent. With support from Panzhihua, Leshan, Zigong, and other undamaged or slightly affected areas, the industrial added value of up-scale enterprises' is expected to grow approximately 19 percent over the first half of the year, according to Sichuan Daily. Although a seriously damaged area, Chengdu has achieved 24.6 percent in industrial added value, ranking second in increased growth throughout the province. This result could not be possible without help from 17 slightly affected cities and counties.
