ANKARA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Balkan Chiefs of Defense (CHODs) highlighted the importance of regional military cooperation at the second session of the Balkan CHODs conference held in Antalya province of southern Turkey on Monday. The Balkan CHODs expressed their strong will to further enhance military cooperation among Balkan states to meet regional security challenges at the meeting. The Balkan CHODs approved a number of joint military activities to be conducted in the following years, including joint training, education and exercises, said the release of the meeting. The meeting also emphasized good neighborly relations and reiterated the solidarity and commitments stated in the first meeting in Athens, said the release.
