Police: Predator Stalks Garage Sales

UPDATED: 8:12 am EDT July 7, 2008 ROSEVILLE, Mich. -- Police in Roseville and Warren are investigating reports of a man trying to molest children at neighborhood garage sales. The most recent attempt was Sunday afternoon in Roseville when a man purchased a book and bent down to whisper and fondle a 6-year-old girl, police said. The girl's mother was standing nearby and saw the man rub her daughter's leg. The girl's dad pulled into the driveway and the man got into his car and drove off. Police said they believe it is the same man who was reported to be naked or exposing himself to children near garage sales in Warren on Saturday. Witnesses said the man was driving a charcoal gray car, possibly a Pontiac G-6. He was described as a white male in his 50s, about 6 feet tall with a gray goatee and...
