Speaker denounces US double-standard in region

Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Sunday condemned the double-standard policy adopted by Washington in the Middle East. Addressing formal session of Majlis this morning, he stressed that the people living in the region are fed up with the US behavior. Expressing condolences on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Naqi (AS), the tenth Imam of the infallible household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), he deplored the bombing of two holy shrines in the Iraqi city of Samarra last June. The holy shrines of Imams, Ali al-Naqi (AS) and Hassan al-Askariya (AS) in Samarra, 100 km north of Baghdad, were hit by terrorists.
