UPDATED: 1:37 am EDT July 6, 2008 WESTLAND, Mich. -- Westland police are searching for a man they said almost assaulted an 18-year-old girl Saturday. Police said the man approached the girl earlier in the week and told her he was a photographer. He offered her money to pose. The girl met the man with her grandfather on Saturday at a Bob Evans restaurant in Romulus. The grandfather told police he looked over a contract the man had given the girl, and decided it was authentic. When the photographer said he had reserved a hotel room available for the shoot, the grandfather told police he checked with the Marriott Hotel clerk who confirmed that the man was there for a photo shoot. The grandfather told police he then left and was supposed to pick up the girl later. Police said the photographer then suggested the girl go with him...
