Church gets new minister

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove St. S.E., has welcomed Pastor William Johnson. He graduated from Girard High School and Youngstown State University. The licensed social worker recently was an assessor for District Area on Aging. He pastored Ellsworth United Methodist Church and Southington United Methodist Church and was associate pastor of Western Reserve United Methodist Church, all in Ohio.
