Representatives of Tiraspol and Russia to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) at the July 3 meeting refused to discuss the stopping of the motor vehicle of the state-owned company Moldova’s Post Office by officers of the Transdniestrian customs post in Dubasari town. The incident happened on July 2 at about 11.00. The vehicle was transporting mail and pensions for residents of the villages that are under Moldova’s control. It was held up at the customs office in Dubasari. Shortly afterward, the JCC co-president on behalf of Moldova Ion Solonenco and the JCC co-president representing Transdniestria Oleg Beliacov took measures to solve the problem, but their instructions were not carried out.
