Wyndham tournament picks up 6 commitments

Posted: Today at 4:02 a.m. Updated: 13 minutes ago GREENSBORO, N.C. — The oldest annual PGA Tour event in North Carolina is picking up several commitments from prominent players. Davis Love III is one of six golfers who have recently committed to play in next month's Wyndham Championship. Other new commitments include David Toms, Tim Clark, Carl Pettersson, Lucas Glover and Jerry Kelly. All will tee up at the event's new location at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro. They join U.S. Open runner-up Rocco Mediate and Brandt Snedeker, who won the event last year when it was played across town at Forest Oaks. Love is a Charlotte native and North Carolina alumnus who won the tournament in 1992 and 2006. Clark and Pettersson once were roommates at North Carolina State. The tournament is scheduled for...
