Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid a visit to a coal mine in the province of Zonguldak yesterday. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has paid a visit to a coal mine in the province of Zonguldak, where he later spoke to miners at the Kozlu mining facilities. Following a meeting of the parliamentary group of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Erdoğan flew to Zonguldak, a province in the Black Sea region, by helicopter. He visited the Kozlu mine, which belongs to the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK), wearing miners’ apparel. He was accompanied by Labor and Social Security Minister Faruk Çelik, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Güler and his son, Bilal Erdoğan, in the mine -- 564 meters below ground -- where he stayed for an hour and a half.
