Revenue agency hires new deputy director

Associated Press - July 2, 2008 4:54 PM ET HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The Department of Revenue says it is hiring a legislative researcher as its new deputy director. Alan Peura joins the agency this month. He leaves a post as a legislative fiscal analyst. Revenue Director Dan Bucks says they are excited to have Peura's energy and talent. Peura analyzed state the government budget for the Montana university system in his previous job. He is also a city commissioner in Helena. The position pays $85,658 per year.
