By: Adrianne Stone A man accused of stalking teenage sister act Aly & AJ was arrested on a felony charge of menacing by stalking on Thursday (June 26th). Rex Mettler, of Lancaster, Ohio, has been sending emailed and handwritten notes to the singers and making blog posts targeting them and threats via phone since December 15th. The 42-year-old appeared in Fairfield County Municipal Court on Friday (June 27th), where he pleaded not guilty. Bond was set at $250,000, according to E! Online, and Mettler must submit to a mental-health assessment. A preliminary hearing was slated for July 3rd. The girls -- 19-year-old Alyson Michalka, and 17-year-old Amanda -- continued on with their tour plans while authorities investigated the threats.
