By GREG WELTER - Staff Writer Oroville Mercury Register (California) Register Now June 27 - 1 pm(ET) Select Your State and Click: Headlines coming from the fire lines Thursday included news that Coutelenc Road in Magalia was placed under precautionary evacuation orders, and a 2,500-acre fire just discovered, brought real estate burned by Butte County fires to at least 7,500 acres. At 3 p.m. sheriff's deputies were ordered to issue a precautionary evacuation for the upper and lower portions of Coutelenc Road, where 165 homes may be immediately threatened if the West Fire, burning since Saturday, jumps the West Branch of the Feather River. Bulldozers were attempting to cut a fire break across a ridge west of the river to help ensure that doesn't happen, and several strike teams were camped overnight on Coutelenc in case it did....
