Rob Parker: Golf fan on the walk of a lifetime

GRAND BLANC, Mich. -- Most people have lifelong dreams that make their lives both easier and enjoyable. Then there's D.J. Gregory. He's got the enjoyable part down pat. That's because Gregory, 30, from Savannah, Ga., plans to walk all the holes in the PGA's 44 tournaments this season. That's 3,168 holes, stretching from California to England. The end point is Nov. 9, the final day of the Children's Miracle Network Classic in Florida. Not even Hollywood could have scripted it better. It's a monster feat for even the biggest golf fan.
