EAST POINT, Ga. -- East Point Fire Station No. 1 is a city fixture that's always been just across the street from Billy Formisano and his tattoo parlor. "We watch the fire trucks go by us -- minimum once an hour. They go by us everyday," said Formisano, whose worked in East Point for 2.5 years. Being so close to help with such a fast response proved critical for Formisano. "We're very fortunate that they are across the street because we've had to use them. And they were here in a matter of seconds," said Formisano. "One of our tattooist was a diabetic and had a seizure. And they came right over. They worked on him, helped him, and they were gone."
