Blues prospect Eller stays patient

Lars Eller and Simon Hjalmarsson, both 19, have been linemates for Sweden's Frolunda Jr. team for 2½ years. When the Blues selected Hjalmarsson in the second round of the NHL draft last summer, it was Eller, the team's first-round pick, who returned to the draft table and told the Blues they had made an excellent choice. A year has passed since the 2007 draft, and few are wondering about the selection of Hjalmarsson. He's made steady progress, and as a second-round pick there's not as much pressure on him to join the Blues.
