Sept. 19-20: Street Scene 2008 Welcomes Beck, Spoon, Hot Chip, to San Diego

With tickets already on sale, the hot event for mid-September in San Diego, Calif. is set to be the 2008 Street Scene, with more than 30 acts to take the stage (make that stages—four, to be exact) throughout San Diego's East Village neighborhood. The venue site will include Tailgate Park (Adjacent to Petco Park) incorporating 14th Street as the main thoroughfare. Included in the 2008 lineup are sets from the likes of Beck, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Michael Franti and Spearhead, The National, Spoon, Hot Chip, TV on the Radio, Vampire Weekend, The Hives, Cold War Kids, Ghostland Observatory, Spiritualized, Tokyo Police Club, Devotchka, Foals and many more.
