Lincoln Park's William Anderson Elected Michigan American Legion State Commander

LANSING, Mich., June 23 American-Legion-MI LANSING, Mich., June 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- William Anderson, a 19-year American Legion Honorary Life Member of Lincoln Park Post 67, is the newly elected State Commander of Michigan's 89,000 member American Legion by delegate action at the organization's 90th State Convention Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Commander Anderson, a Vietnam veteran of U.S. Army service, has been active at many levels of the American Legion, the nation's largest veterans organization, with nearly 2.8 million members.
