"They don't," one unnamed scout told si.com. "They've just stumbled across a couple while feeling around in the dark. It's all dumb luck." Huh? The writer of the piece, Allan Muir, follows up on that premise by pointing out that, like other teams, the Wings have had many flops, too. So just because the Wings have a much better batting average with Nicklas Lidstrom, Tomas Holmstrom, Niklas Kronwall, Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen, it's just luck, eh?
