A DRUNK man held a gun to the head of his terrified neighbour, threatened to kill him and pulled the trigger, Norwich Crown Court heard on Friday. Paul Hodgkinson (57) was jailed for four years after he held a gun to the forehead of Mark Page after he told him to keep the noise down. At one point he pulled the trigger, said Richard White, prosecuting. Mr Page had tried to calm Hodgkinson down and told him police were in the area, but Hodgkinson said he did not care and would shoot them as well, added Mr White. After the confrontation last October, Hodgkinson, of 12A Alma Chase, Terrington St Clement, hid the gun in his trousers and went home but his step-sister, who heard what had happened, recovered it before police arrived and arrested him.
