Namibe The salt extraction company "So-Sal", located in Tômbwa district, south Namibe province, needs USD 80,000 to install a floating bridge to carry sea water directly to the production area. Speaking to ANGOP this Monday, the factory's manager, Assis Gonçalves said that due to the lack of enough financial means and equipment, the firm does not reach the desired rate of its production capacity, which is of 6,000 tonnes per year. The source stressed that these difficulties and climatic factors have influenced negatively the increase of the company's production rate. The salt company operates with 60 workers.
