Thank God. It’s time to close the book on the longest, weirdest and saddest offseason ever. And in roughly… 12 days, 13 hours and 22 minutes or so, I’ll be arriving in Tucson for five days of baseball, bars, golf and sun … hopefully. I’ve managed to make it from Albany to Tucson before the 1:05 first pitch two years in a row, but connecting in O’Hare is always a crap shoot. Speaking of flights, I’ll be in the market for a new book to pass the five to six hours I’ll be on a plane.
