Bolton make Jussi offer

BOLTON have offered Jussi Jaaskelainen a new contract to effectively keep him at the club for the rest of his career. The long-serving Finnish keeper's current deal runs out at the end of the month and they are anxious to keep him. Aston Villa and Turkish giants Galatasary are keen on taking Jaaskelainen if new terms aren't agreed. However, MEN Sport understands the 33-year-old fans' favourite has been offered a four-year deal to take him through to 2012. And negotiations could be concluded now the player's agent has returned from holiday. However, if Jaaskelainen does stay, it could mean the end of Ali Al Habsi's career at the Reebok.
