By PEGGY WRIGHT • Gannett News Service • June 5, 2008 The two workers killed in 2002 at the FuncoLand electronic game shop in Roxbury both died of gunshots to the head that were fired at close range, Morris County's medical examiner testified to a jury Wednesday. Victim and shop manager Erik Rewoldt, 26, died instantly of a gunshot that entered his left temple and was fired from no more than three feet away, Dr. Ronald Suarez said at the homicide trial of accused killer Omar Shaheer Thomas, 31, of Irvington. In the case of the second victim, Jeffrey Adam Eresman, 21, the medical examiner said he first suffered a shot behind his right ear that was lethal but did not immediately kill him.
