Iowa Tightly Contested in U.S. Election

This year’s United States presidential election could be very close in Iowa, according a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 44 per cent of respondents would vote for Democratic Illinois senator Barack Obama, while 42 per cent would back Republican Arizona senator John McCain.
