Carlsberg launches 30.5 bln crown rights issue UPDATE

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Danish brewer Carlsberg AS is launching a 30.5 billion crown rights issue to repay part of the debt financing used to buy Scottish&Newcastle (S&N), the company announced in a statement late on Thursday.
