The Hawks, minus captain Jonathan Toews and defenseman Brent Seabrook for the second consecutive game, rode suddenly hot goaltender Cristobal Huet to their second win in a row, a 3-1 victory in front of a crowd of 20,046. Huet made 20 saves and Dave Bolland, Troy Brouwer and Patrick Kane provided the offense as the Hawks upped their record to 7-3-1.
