LEXINGTON, Ky. — Corey Peters stood in front of the media on Monday wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a blue University of Kentucky logo in blue. Asked if his wardrobe was sending a statement, Peters smiled. Make no mistake, though, Peters would like to be wearing black again on Saturday when the Wildcats (4-3, 1-3 Southeastern Conference) host Mississippi State (3-5, 1-3) at Commonwealth Stadium. The game is being billed as a “blackout” game, with UK urging fans to wear black.
